I found this mirror at a local outlet store for less than half the price it is here. Since our baby's theme is all fish ; underwater things, I thought it was perfect. Honestly, I wasn't so interested in the remote control music player since I really just wanted a mirror to be able to see him while I am driving and from the passenger side, which it does perfectly, but it was a pleasant addition ; we love to play with it! I bought one for each of our cars (all for less than the Amazon price) ; I am so glad I did. I haven't had the negative experience that the other reviewers had, but again, I was looking more for just a mirror ; for the price I ended up with much more! Great little mirror ; really cute too!Oh, it also latches on quite easily and secure if your car has the LATCH system using the middle clamp in the rear seat.

My wife and I bought this mirror for our newborn. First we could not open to include the batteries and as we leave overseas we could not return and get a new one. We had to completely break the battery compartiment to be able to open it. After such a hard time we had the batteries included and we found out that the music was really bad. And to finish the batteries do not last. We ended up using teh mirror without the sound or the remote (Very useful to have such a mirror) but we could have bought something much chieper for that. Watch out if you plan to buy this one.

I loved that this mirror had a remote control feature for the music. However, the music is pretty bad. When the music first starts it sounds like a siren. The songs are barely recognizable because of the quality. Bummer.
