I got this mirror for my 7 month old daughter. By the time she turned 8 months old she was able to take out the round part plastic that covers the lights and I FOUND IT IN HER MOUTH when I stopped the car. She could have chocked on it if I drove a little longer I put this piece of junk in the GARBAGE where it belongs! VERY DANGEROUS!
I bought this mirror to use in my husband's car- a Honda CRV- unfortunately, there is no way to install it so that the baby can see in the mirror or we can see her! I couldn't return it because I had to basically destroy the box to get it out. Waste of $30. The Fisher Price mirror in my car was half the price and installs perfectly. No luck switching either- the Baby Einstein Mirror didn't work in my Nissan Altima either. I'm contemplating writing the manufacturer but that probably won't get anywhere.
If you want this for the crib- maybe that would work- but for the car- 2 thumbs down!
