I originally bought the fisher price healthy care deluxe booster seat and was very pleased with it. So much so that I decided to get another one for our dining room so we could have baby seating with us for formal dinners (the first one is in the kitchen table).
I decided this time to get fisher price precious planet booster seat because I liked the fact of having toys kind of attached to the little table since our baby's favorite game is throwing everything that sits on it.
When we got it I regretted not getting this one from the very beginning. I mean....the only difference between these two seats are that the precious planet comes with an attachable toy tray that's going to give your kid countless hours of distraction vs. a two removable flat trays that you end up never using with the deluxe one.
Now, I'm able to cook without stopping every 5 minutes because my kid is bored in his seat. He can spend up to an hour playing with the little toys in the tray without calling for me. A real life savior!
Get this booster seat, it is the same price than the deluxe one, and you'll get more for your money
We bought this our younger child (the older child still fits in his) and bought the one with the toys attachment for the tray (older child has the basic one). With the baby, we are skipping the high chair (way too many nooks and crannies to collect food debris) and going straight to this booster. I don't think it would fit a baby less than about 16-17 pounds or 6 months old, and it doesn't give good support for babies who can't sit up on their own, but it works well for us. The toy tray attachment is a little boring, but maybe our baby will figure out how to have fun with it in a couple months. Overall very happy with this easy to clean/use chair.
